Our D&I Progress and Focus for the Future

We believe it isn’t the responsibility of one, but the duty of us all, to ensure that our commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging is reflected in how we show up for each other, serve our customers and impact the communities where we live and work. To support this, we have an integrated approach to D&I at that engages teammates of all levels across our entire organization.

REALXCHANGES

We strive to create a consistent culture of support for all teammates by creating a safe space for real, honest dialogue. We tackle tough conversations together and learn how to support one another.

It’s not about “having a program” but about truly creating an environment where teammates can engage in genuine conversation, regardless of how similar or different our experiences may be.

MEET-UP GROUPS

Teammate-led meet-up groups focus on creating community and a safe-space to support one another. They educate allies and drive a sense of belonging at AvidXchange. Some of our meet-up groups include:

LEARNING

We organize and offer internal events and trainings to create learning opportunities for all AvidXers. Examples include:

  • Internal Collaboration Sites for Discussion and Resource Sharing
  • Formal Trainings Hosted by External Partners
  • Film Screenings & Discussions; official sponsor of Finish Line Features

MOBILITY

We’re partnering with the external tech community to invest in and create a pathway into tech careers inside and outside of AvidXchange. For existing AvidXers, we’re building new programs focused on internal mobility and career development, especially for our underrepresented teammates.

Making an Impact in Our Communities

We’re a tech company through and through, and we’re passionate about removing barriers to careers in technology. We believe this starts before you submit your first resume, before you fill out your first college application… It starts with having resources and social capital throughout your education, especially in terms of accessing the tech industry. Our signature program is called Tech Rising. It’s located in Charlotte, NC, and focuses on creating economic mobility opportunities for youth and young adults.
