In 2005, we formed the AvidXchange Foundation to help elementary school children impacted by hurricane Katrina. From then on, the AvidXchange Foundation has been dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and young adults where we work and live.
As a technology company, we focus heavily on empowering future generations to take advantage of today’s digital economy, which will be even more critical tomorrow. Across all our locations, we work with local community partners to provide career skills programming and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) curriculum to students of all ages.
But we don’t limit our efforts or those of our teammates to a singular mission. Corporate giving of all kinds is a part of AvidXchange’s DNA, and we enable employees who are passionate about giving back to the community – however is most meaningful to them – with paid volunteer time off.
Because engaging with our communities and striving to improve the quality of life for our teammates and neighbors is more than an opportunity – it’s our responsibility.
In Charlotte, NC, where AvidXchange is headquartered, our signature program is Tech Rising.
Without the proper equipment, access or understanding, so many people are unable to take advantage of the opportunities – or even meet the mandates – of today’s technology-based society.
Tech Rising brings together corporate partners and community organizations across the Queen City to help bridge the digital divide and create economic mobility opportunities for children and young adults.
