AvidXchange Named in LinkedIn’s “Top Companies 2021: Charlotte” List

AvidXchange was named in LinkedIn’s “Top Companies 2021: Charlotte” list, a new list that looks at the best workplaces to grow your career in 10 emerging cities throughout the U.S. This list is intended to be used as a go-to resource for professionals at every stage of their career journeys at a local level.

To compile the list, LinkedIn examined unique LinkedIn data specifically in the Charlotte metropolitan area. They measured seven pillars that have been shown to lead to career progression: ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity and educational background. Companies must have at least 50 employees in the city to be eligible for this list.

AvidXchange, a Charlotte “unicorn,” has become one of the most well-known, high growth fintech companies in the payments industry. With over 1,500 employees supporting 7,000+ customers across North America, AvidXchange processed approximately 53 million transactions with over $145 billion in spend under management in 2020 and has paid more than 700,000 suppliers through its network over the last five years. But more importantly, AvidXchange puts as much focus on its business development as it does its talent.
