Before turning professional, Michael Kim played collegiate golf at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned numerous honors, including the Haskins Award and the Nicklaus Award, and competed as a member of both the Walker Cup and Palmer Cup teams. He joined the PGA TOUR in 2015 and captured his first victory at the 2018 John Deere Classic, finishing with a record-breaking 27-under-par total. In September 2025, Kim secured his first DP World Tour title at the FedEx Open de France. Known for his consistent scoring, driving accuracy, and strong putting, Michael continues to be a formidable player to watch.
