The AvidXchange Foundation
The AvidXchange Foundation is making a difference in the lives of children here in Charlotte, North Carolina and abroad. Please contact us if you'd like to suggest a way where AvidXchange can make a difference in the lives of children.
Alexander Youth Network
In 2007, AvidXchange sponsored birthday parties at the Alexander Youth Network here in Charlotte, where the children have, or are at risk of having, serious emotional and behavioral problems.
Each month throughout the year, AvidXchange would spend time with the children, lead play-time activities, and celebrate birthdays.
When hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, Charlotte received hundreds of evacuees, many of whom were children. AvidXchange reached out to our extended network of customers, vendors, and partners to raise money to help them resettle and give a warm reception here in Charlotte.
Working with the Mecklenburg County School System, AvidXchange coordinated a Welcome Package for each child here from New Orleans that included a backpack, school supplies, and a new toy. AvidXchange employees hand-delivered over 500 Welcome Packages over the weeks that followed Katrina.
On January 12, 2010 a catastrophic earthquake hit Haiti. Since that time AvidXchange has been adopting Haitian children; providing them with food, water, clothing and shelter. AvidXchange continues to honor our commitment to those children by providing ongoing support to the Haitian children.
