CHARLOTTE, N.C., (April 3, 2017) – AvidXchange™, leading provider of accounts payable and payment automation solutions for midsize companies, announced today that it has added Steve Boehm, former eBay and payments senior leader, to its executive team. Boehm, a seasoned customer experience leader, joins AvidXchange today as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, reporting to the CEO, Michael Praeger.

He and the Customer Delivery teams he will lead are charged with delivering world class products, implementation services, and ongoing support to AvidXchange’s growing and sophisticated customer network which is currently comprised of more than 5,000 customers.

Steve has served in strategic leadership roles for large businesses within highly-competitive and rapidly-changing industries. Boehm most recently worked for eBay Inc. as Senior Vice President, Global Customer Experience, where he led a 9,000-person team across 25 locations and 15 time zones. He led customer service, billing and payments, risk and policy and customer trust teams. His and his teams’ focus was to make eBay easier to use, more reliable, and more consistent from the customer’s standpoint. Previously, Steve spent the majority of his career in the financial services and payments sectors. He held senior leadership positions at First Data Corp., Wells Fargo/ Wachovia Corp. and Visa. He and his wife Mary reside in Matthews, NC.
