Moneybird Picks Adyen And Other Digital Transactions News briefs from 11/30/22

  • Payments provider Adyen Inc. said Moneybird, a software-as-a-service platform, has agreed to use card-issuing and business-accounts services the payments company has recently released.
  • Prepaid card specialist Blackhawk Network announced its rebates-redemption platform has exceeded 1 billion transactions. Rebates are processed via branded gift or prepaid cards.
  • POSaBIT Systems Corp., a specialist in payments processing for cannabis retailers, said its third-quarter revenue reached $10.3 million, up 62% year-over-year. The performance marked the first time in the company’s seven-year history that it has exceeded $10 million in revenue for a quarter. Its net loss of $1.2 million was down from $6.9 million in 2021’s third quarter.
  • New York City-based Unbanked Inc., a blockchain-based fintech, has partnered with electronic-money financial institution Moorwand to issue cards that allow users to spend digital assets. The program is available in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe.
  • Payments provider Knox Wire and gift card provider GlobeTopper announced a collaboration to offer same-day payout capabilities in more than 190 countries via GlobeTopper.
  • Payments-technology firm AvidXchange launched a cross-border payments platform, available first to Oracle NetSuite clients.
  • Inter&Co, a Brazil-based super app with banking and remittance features, has joined Amazon.com Inc.’s payment service provider program.
  • Payments-technology provider Transaction Network Services said it is marking 15 years of continuous compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard. PCI DSS 1.0 was introduced in December 2004.
  • Payments provider Valor PayTech named Eric Bernstein its chief executive. Bernstein had been the company’s chief operating officer.
