On June 1, 2016, Next Bank comes to Charlotte for the first time! Next Bank is an independent, open and collaborative fintech community driving change for the better in financial services through design, innovation, and entrepreneurship. At Next Bank CLT, presented by Oracle, attendees will hear from leading experts who will provide insights and expert opinions on the rapidly changing digital landscape of Financial Services.
Some of the world’s best minds in FinTech and financial services will converge in the Queen City for this marquee event. Two AvidXchange board members, Matt Harris and Brad Feld, will also be speaking at the conference. At 11:15 a.m., Matt Harris of Bain Capital Ventures will co-lead a fireside chat on trends in FinTech venture capital with JP Nicols of Next Bank. At 6 p.m., Brad Feld will present on a keynote on building a successful entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Managing Director of the Foundry Group, Feld is one of the most notable VCs and entrepreneurs of the last two decades.
In addition to amazing speakers, Queen City FinTech Demo Day will take place in two 50-minute sessions in the afternoon, with a 15-minute coffee and networking break in the middle. The entire day (breakfast, lunch, VIP networking reception) is $295 and limited to 100 participants. Demo Day and Brad Feld’s keynote is free and open to 300 people (includes dessert reception 7-8 p.m. with cash bar).
