AvidXchange User Conference Sets Record Attendance
Charlotte, NC (September 24, 2010) - AvidXchange experiences record attendance at their annual User Conference with over 100 registered attendees.
Attendance for AvidXchange’s 5h annual User Conference, at the Hilton Charlotte City Center, exceeded attendance levels of previous years. Attendees include system administrators, end users, financial officers and company executives. The conference makes it easy for AvidXchange customers to learn more about new features, attend training sessions and to earn CPE (Accounting and Specialized Knowledge and Application) credits.
This two day conference included IOMA certification training, hands-on AvidXchange training and special break-out sessions hosted by AvidXchange product experts exploring industry trends and new product offerings. The event kicked off with a hosted reception giving attendees a chance to mix and mingle with their peers before the conference started.
Tim Johnson, SVP of Operations and Professional Services remarked that, “this conference gives our attendees a leg up on their industry peers by helping them understand where the industry is going, what the emerging best practices are and how to implement their learning to lead their company’s there first.”
The opening keynote session, The Evolution of Payables, was given by President and co-founder David Miller, and was followed by topical breakout sessions. The afternoon sessions focused on new product features, client feedback and a look at AvidXchange‘s 3-year roadmap. The conference closed with the awarding of AvidXpert Awards to AvidXchange clients who have excelled in their use of technology and innovation to streamline their accounts payable process..
