AvidXchange Senior Director of IT Recognized as Exemplary Businesswoman

CHARLOTTE, N.C., (June 17, 2016) Daidre Fanis of AvidXchange™ was celebrated last night for receiving the Charlotte Business Journal’s 2016 Women in Business Award during an awards ceremony at Hilton Charlotte Center City. The program, now in its 20th year, honors 25 Charlotte-area businesswomen who have made significant contributions to their professions and to their communities during the past year. Daidre has made a significant impact on IT operations, mergers and acquisitions, and customer relationship management during a rapid year of growth at AvidXchange™, an accounts payable and payment automation software company.

About Daidre Fanis

With more than 20 years of experience, Daidre Fanis serves as Senior Director of IT at AvidXchange. She began her career with Kraft General Foodservice, where she advanced to several key positions focused on defining and implementing IT strategies. She then transitioned into telecommunications at a Charlotte-based start-up called US LEC, which was acquired by PAETEC Communications and ultimately Windstream. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and Information Technology from the State University of New York and a master’s degree from Lynn University. She is currently enrolled in the elite Society for Information Management for senior IT professionals.
